Microchipping

Our hospital provides microchipping, a permanent form of identification for your pet.

Pet Microchipping

The noninvasive method of putting a microchip under an animal’s skin with a syringe is known as microchipping.

What is a microchip & why is it used?

A microchip is a small identification tag placed beneath your pet’s skin. Microchipping your pets is a good idea for their safety and your peace of mind. If your pet is picked up and taken to an animal shelter or a veterinarian’s office, the staff will scan him with a microchip reader. If he’s been microchipped, the scanner will beep and provide the staff member the chip number, which they can check up in the microchip database and notify you!
